Alternative Energies
Alternative energies are those which do not use fossil fuels, petroleum by-products, coal or gas as a primary source.
Among the alternative energies that we offer at Ilsa are:
Biomass
A biomass installation uses fuels of vegetable or animal origin. In large installations we use mostly wood chips.
Solar Thermal (STE)
With solar thermal energy we produce hot water. We transform the energy of solar radiation into heat. In industries where the hot water consumption is high, such as hotels and sports facilities, the generation of STE is highly recommended because there is a short term return of investment (ROI). This type of installation is perfectly compatible with a traditional system.
Geothermal
In a geothermal installation what we do is use the heat from the Earth to produce hot water. Generally, this hot water is used in HVAC and/or DHW.
If you’re planning to install some sort of system with an alternative source of energy, even though you already have a conventional system, do not hesitate to contact us. We will advise you regarding installation costs, the return on investment and the decrease in the level of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere compared to those emitted by your current source of energy.
